About Kr.Chapter
Welcome to SFPE Korean Chapter
SFPE(Society of Fire Protection Engineers), founded in 1950, is the world’s first professional association representing people working in fire science and fire protection engineering. SFPE Korean Chapter started in 2003 and is a group of SFPE members active in South Korea.
미국 SFPE는 1950년부터 시작되어, 화재과학 및 소방공학 분야에서 활동하는 사람들을 대표하는 세계 최초의 전문 모임입니다. 2003년도 시작된 한국지회는 SFPE의 회원으로 한국 내에서 활동하는 사람들의 모임입니다.
Our Mission
Mission Statements
The mission of the Chapter shall be to advance the science and practice of fire protection engineering and its allied fields, to contribute to fire safety throughout Korea and enhance the professional development of Korean fire protection engineers. The Chapter shall maintain a high ethical standard among its members, foster fire protection education, and support charitable social activities.
SPFE 한국지회의 사명은 소방공학 및 관련 분야의 과학과 응용분야를 발전시키고, 대한민국의 화재안전에 기여하며, 한국 소방엔지니어의 전문성을 향상시키는 것입니다. 본 지회는 회원간의 높은 윤리기준을 유지하고, 소방교육과 사회봉사활동을 지원합니다.
